Rapyd is an e-money institution licensed in Iceland and is supervised by the Central Bank of Iceland, Seðlabanka Íslands (reg. no. 430602-3650). Rapyd is authorized to offer its e-money and payment services also in Germany pursuant to Directive 2009/110/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 in conjunction with Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015.
